Chocolate and orange soufflé. Coriander-roasted carrots with tahini yoghurt and mint. Yummy.
Beaumaris Rotary are revving up for your local Royal Avenue Farmers’ Market on Saturday 14 November with a Mystery Basket challenge.
Farmers’ Market Mystery Basket Challenge
Beaumaris Rotary want to know your favourite dish. A bottle of Moet champagne is the prize for the best entry.
To be the one lucky winner, simply share YOUR recipe and post an image of YOUR dish.
You can choose a favourite starter, main or dessert. BUT you can only use the items found in the Farmers’ Chef Mystery Basket.
You can share the photo and recipe in the Comments section on our Beaumaris Rotary Facebook post, or our Bayside Community Hub Facebook post, our Black Rock Community Hub Facebook post or simply send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All the items found in Farmers’ Chef Mystery Basket can typically be found at your local Royal Avenue Farmers’ Market. You can add your own pantry items like butter, flour, olive oil, etc.
We’re delighted that our winner will be chosen by David Whitfield. And the prize will be presented at the Farmers’ Market on Saturday 14th November.
David is the Chef and owner of Küche Inspirational Foods, Concourse, Beaumaris.
From his early days as Apprentice Chef at the French inspired Peppercorn Restaurant, Sydney; to Demi Chef de Partie at the 5 star Regent Hotel; to the Claridge’s hotel, London as Senior Chef de Partie; to positions as Chef de Cuisine and Executive Sous Chef for some of the world’s most renowned hotels and resorts, David has built a reputation for his flair of elegant presentation and sophisticated recipes.
David has been awarded the Gold Medal for ‘The Restaurants of Champions’ Fine Food & Hotel Australia & NSW Mid North Coast Chef of the Year; to name but two awards. But please don’t let that intimidate you! David is one of the friendliest people you could want to meet.
