Beaumaris Farmers’ Market, Saturday 11 April 2020 – CANCELLED

Black Rock Farmers’ Market, Saturday 25 April 2020- CANCELLED

Following Australian Government advice, and in light of the evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation which advises against non-essential, organised public gatherings of more than 500 people, we have regretfully cancelled the March Black Rock Farmers’ Market. This market was due to be held on Saturday 28 March in parklands behind Bayside Council offices.

Additionally, the Black Rock market due to be held at the same site on Saturday 25 April has also been cancelled.

The Beaumaris Farmers’ Market, due to be held at Beaumaris North Primary School on Saturday 11 April has been cancelled for the same community safety reason.

These popular monthly community events are operated by the Rotary Club of Beaumaris in collaboration with Regional Farmers’ Markets. We want to assure you that these market will resume as soon as the Government ban on large scale gatherings is lifted.

Beaumaris Rotary and our valued partners regard the health and wellbeing of our supporters, and the community, as our highest priority.

We do appreciate your continued support for these markets, and the producers who supply all the wonderful fresh produce to our friendly customers. We will keep you informed as further updates become available. In the meantime thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you all back at the Black Rock (fourth Saturdays) and Beaumaris (second Saturdays) monthly markets in the near future.

Beaumaris Rotary

The Rotary Club of Beaumaris in conjunction with Regional Farmers Markets and with the support of the Bayside Council has established a Farmers Market at Royal Avenue adjacent to the Council offices.

If you are interested in having a stall at the market please contact Regional Farmers Markets at:

The market will be held between 8 am and 1 pm on the fourth Saturday of each month.  For more information please visit the following website:

All Beaumaris Rotary proceeds from the Market will be used to support community organisations locally and overseas. 100% of all monies raised (nett of direct costs) by Rotary is distributed back to the community activities we support. Rotary takes no administrative costs from any funds raised and members cover their own costs when on Rotary projects. In particular, Sandringham Hospital is a major beneficiary of our fundraising.

A list of the causes which Beaumaris Rotary supported is shown in our Annual Reports. These may be found by following this link:

Beaumaris Rotary would like to thank the following companies who support the running of the market.
